You guys could teach geography when you get back! Are you learning any local dialects? Do you leave anything as thanks after visiting local homes? Do you shake out your sheets, clothes and shoes daily to get out spiders?
Can’t say that we are learning any local dialects, just common keywords. When we visit a village or something about the only thing we leave is some of our money because they are typically selling some handicrafts. We do have to check our bed for bed bugs, but we don’t typically shake out the sheets or our shoes. When we were at 4000 Islands in Laos we did have to shake the sheets because of the additional cockroaches you would see (typically there weren’t in the bed).
